Still Waters Soul Care LLC is the fruition of a lifelong journey and the fulfillment of a decade’s dream. It follows decades of church staff ministry in which I actually practiced many of the spiritual rhythms of soul care personally and with others. I now want to focus on my core passion of accompanying others in discovering the unfathomable depth of God’s love for them.

Through a time of deep personal struggle, ministry burnout and recovery, I came to realize the importance of knowing God’s steadfast love for me not only in my head, but deeply in my heart. This life-changing period led me on the path I am now traveling. 

I am single and enjoy time with my extended family of two sisters and a brother as well as nieces and nephews and their kids. I look forward to reuniting with my parents and older sister in heaven one day. I love time with friends, adventure and meeting new people, Alabama college football, laughing, reading, beauty and travel. My travels to twenty-four different countries for ministry, brings me the realization that we all seek to know the meaning and purpose of our lives. Education & Experience:
My educational and career journey followed a circuitous path. I received a B.A. in French (University of Alabama), a Masters in Christian Education (Reformed Theological Seminary), a Doctorate of Ministry in Women in Ministry (Gordon Conwell Seminary) and a certificate from a two-year Soul Care Institute program. I taught high school in both France and the U.S. before serving in the offices of a U. S. Congressman and a Senator. I invested thirty-eight years in church staff ministry and consulting in six different churches as well as the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination before retiring to create Still Waters Soul Care.
